Location of Biorefineries Based on Olive-Derived Biomass in Andalusia, Spain

چکیده
A biorefinery integrated process based on lignocellulosic feedstock is especially interesting in rural areas with a high density of agricultural and agro-industrial wastes, which the case for olive crop their associated industries. In region Andalusia, south Spain, provinces Jaén, Córdoba Seville accumulate more than 70% wastes generated Spain. Therefore, valorisation these matter interest from both an environmental social point view. The involves multi-product different raw materials: leaves, exhausted pomace, stones tree pruning residues. Biorefinery processes would allow to produce bioenergy value-added renewable products. this work, using geographic information system tools, biomass fields, mills pomace-extracting industries, where are generated, was determined quantified study area. addition, vulnerability territory evaluated through territorial analysis that allowed determination reception capacity Then, layers corresponding availability four fragility area were overlapped they resulted overall map. This made it possible identify best implementation biorefineries olive-derived biomass. Finally, as example, three zones selected purpose. These locations corresponded low (more 300,000 tons/year) 30 km radius, ensure supply.

Hemicellulose biorefineries: a review on biomass pretreatments
Biomass pretreatment (BP) plays a crucial role in a lignocellulose feedstock-based biorefinery (LCFBR) for processing of three major output streams (cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin) into chemicals and biofuels. BP includes processing of lignocellulosic material (LCM) under aqueous, dilute acid or alkaline media to obtain a cellulosic fraction, which is then fermented to produce bioethanol....
متن کاملOptimal Location of Biorefineries
INTRODUCTION Biorefineries can be built as stand-alone systems or co-located with existing systems such as industrial plants or district heating systems. There are different criteria for selecting a suitable location for a biorefinery, for example closeness to raw material, product markets and heat sinks and sources or existing experiences and know-how. Further, the entire upgrading process fro...

متن کاملAndalusia, Spain: An Assessment of Coastal Scenery
The 1101 km length of the Andalusian coast (Spain) was assessed for coastal scenery at 45 specific locations. Selected areas covered resort (3), urban (19), village (8), rural (10) and remote (5) bathing areas. Scenery was analyzed for physical and human parameters via 26 selected parameters. These parameters were obtained by interviews of 4500 people on European beaches. Each parameter was ass...
